I heard that when the mayor comes back, the hammer is coming down. What goes around, has come around.

The Times is reporting the firing. I guess Salinas engaged in behavior unbecoming a city employee. I can't wait to hear what happened.

Maybe something will open up in either Recycling or the Water Dept. for him. Does this open up a position in the Street Dept. for a Woerple????? We can only hope.

If the conduct I heard is true, he won't be working anywhere around here. More like making big ones into little ones, or maybe new license plates.

What is the definition of "conduct unbecoming of a city employee" in northern lake county? You have a post high school education?

Maybe he doesn't have enough relatives in county government. Anyway, with a name like "Salinas", how long before the Kuz declares him to be a great family man and then throws down on a plate of "fray-HO-lessss" with him?

Yes, and he just might have company.

I don't think so. As low as some people can go, even the ones with little or no ethnics, have their tolerance threshold when it comes to certain things.
I speculate that the best stick picker-upper employed by the city of Hammond, just might slide into the newly vacant position.

If what is speculated and rumored is true, there is not a sane person in the whole state of Indiana that would even dare to claim they even know him, let alone stick up for him.
