Dem Congressman Danny Davis Accepts Award at Communist Party HQ

Image

In 2004 Obama hailed Davis as “one of the greatest congressmen” in America.

Quote:
“He is one on the greatest congressmen in the country,” said President Obama. The reason, Obama told a Teamsters union rally in 2004, “is because he shares our values.”

At that time — just eight years ago — Congressman Danny Davis was continuing his efforts to help move then-State Senator Obama up the Chicago political food chain. And not that long ago — in fact, just two weeks — that Congressman Davis was honored by People’s World, a news website, at the Communist Party U.S.A.’s headquarters in Chicago for a lifetime of “inspiring leadership.”

Upon receiving the People’s World “Chris Hani & Rudy Lozano Social Justice Award,” Davis reflected, “Rudy Lozano and I worked closely together to try and build and a relationship between Latino and African-American activists and union types. . . we called ourselves ‘Progressives.’”

Congressman Davis, a member of the House Committee on Homeland Security, was filmed receiving his award and exiting the Communist Party U.S.A. headquarters in Chicago on March 4, 2012.

Panetta: Death penalty
possible in Afghan shooting

Associated Press, by Lolita C. Baldor

ABOARD A US MILITARY AIRCRAFT (AP) — Defense Secretary Leon Panetta says the death penalty is a consideration as the military moves to investigate and possibly put on trial a U.S. soldier suspected of gunning down 16 Afghans.

In his first public remarks on the incident, Panetta said Monday the shootings must not derail the military mission in Afghanistan, and pressure to do so from political leaders in Kabul and Washington must not alter that course.

He said the U.S. seems to get confronted every other day with challenges that test U.S. leadership and its commitment to the mission.

Panetta shed little light on what may have triggered the weekend massacre, but said officials will use the military justice system, and that capital punishment is possible.

He spoke with reporters traveling with him to Kyrgyzstan on Monday.

AMAZING!!!

it took almost 3 years for these ass holes to classify the Ft Hood murders as ''workplace violence''. Execution was never an option.

but they have already convicted this soldier.

This is THE SECRETARY OF DEFENSE here folks,...without any evidence as to why this occurred he is already considering executing this soldier who hasn't even had a court martial yet.

unfuc'king believable.

Well... when the dollar is worth less...there are more of them.

Dumbo has driven down the worth of a US Dollar, I won't argue that.

You can thank the President's predecessor for that:

2002-2007 - The dollar fell 40% as the U.S. debt grew 60%. In 2002, a euro was worth $.87 vs $1.44 by December 2007. (Source: Federal Reserve, Exchange Rates)

Looks like to me that the trend is on the upswing...(Compared to the Euro)

Obama Calls For More Redistribution of Wealth, Declaring, “I Am My Brother’s Keeper”

Image

Commie.
Quote:
In a campaign speech in Vermont on Friday, President Barack Obama referenced the biblical story of Cain and Abel in condemning what he called “you’re-on-your-own economics” while arguing for a number of policies that involve government transferring wealth from one group of citizens to another — including providing public schools with more money for teachers’ salaries, freezing the interest rates on government-backed student loans, supporting companies developing biofuels, electric batteries and wind and solar power and funding scientists who are doing research on stem cells and climate change.

“I hear politicians talking about values in an election year,” Obama said. “I hear a lot about that. Let me tell you about values. Hard work, personal responsibility — those are values. But looking out for one another. That’s a value. The idea that we’re all in this together. I am my brother’s keeper. I am my sister’s keeper. That’s a value.”

In Genesis, Adam and Eve’s first-born son is Cain and their second-born son is Abel. Cain becomes a farmer and Abel becomes a shepherd. When Cain offers the fruit of his farming to God and Abel offers a lamb, God is pleased with Abel’s offering but not Cain’s. Cain then kills Abel. When God asks Cain where Abel is, Cain says: “Am I my brother’s keeper?”

When Obama said on Friday, “I am my brother’s keeper,” he was addressing a crowd of campaign supporters at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt.

Female voters in battleground states are rallying around President Obama in droves, according to a new USA Today/Gallup poll released Monday, suggesting a gender gap could pose one of the Republicans' biggest challenges in this fall's general election race.

Gee I wonder why?
