School Shut after Teacher, Principal Caught Smoking METH in Office

A West Virginia public vocational school has been shut down indefinitely after traces of methamphetamine were found throughout the building during an investigation of the principal and a teacher.

State Police Sgt. Andy Perdue said Monday that traces of the drug were found in the ducts, principal's office, hallways and bathrooms of the Boone County Career and Technical Center. Perdue says the teacher admitted he smoked meth with the principal in the principal's office.

He says police do not have evidence the school was used as a meth lab.

Teacher Jack Turley faces charges of manufacturing meth and procuring Sudafed for making meth. Principal Keith Phipps faces charges of purchasing over the legal limit of Sudafed.

Their attorneys didn't return calls seeking comment.

HIGHLAND -- The School Town of Highland has fired Highland High School teacher Samuel Fies for inappropriate conduct with a female student.

The Board of Trustees at an early Wednesday morning meeting voted 5-0 to reject a letter of resignation Fies submitted; subsequently, the board voted 5-0 to terminate Fies’ contract with the school. Superintendent Michael Boskovich and Highland High School Principal Patrick Weil recommended Fies’ contract be terminated immediately.

The administration first received reports of the allegations of inappropriate conduct with a student in mid-October, Boskovich said in a statement read at the meeting, and Fies was placed on administrative while it, in conjunction with the Highland Police Department, conducted a full investigation.

“The entire School Town of Highland is saddened and disturbed by these events,” Boskovich said in the statement. “We pride ourselves in putting our students first, and we will continue to work to build and maintain the trust of our community.

“The swift and decisive action taken by the School Board of Trustees affirms their commitment to provide all of our students with the best and most appropriate education to ensure their well-being.”

The Highland Police Department will file charges against Fies with the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office later today, Highland Cmdr. George Georgeff said.

It appears that the "educators" are the ones buggering.

(CBS/WBBM) SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - The mother of a former student of Paul LaDuke, the school teacher fired and charged with a felony for allegedly masturbating behind a podium during class, says she previously saw LaDuke walking around with his pants unzipped.

Last Friday, a student at Schaumburg Christian School, where LaDuke has taught for 26 years, told another teacher that she thought LaDuke was masturbating while sitting at his podium during class, reports CBS Chicago. That teacher reportedly notified the administration, which launched an investigation. LaDuke was fired, and school officials called police on Monday.

Police say the 75-year-old LaDuke, a math teacher and ordained minister, may have been engaging in similar activity for more than a decade,
