Why TF are we forced to accommodate the rag heads by building special prayer rooms?

High school students suspended for Tebowing
Los Angeles Times, by Houston Mitchell

You can add one more thing to the list that apparently kids shouldn't do: Tebowing.

Four students at Riverhead High in Long Island, N.Y., were suspended after Tebowing, in which they struck a pose that Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow is known for, in the hall. Jordan Fulcoly, Wayne Drexel and brothers Tyler and Connor Carroll were given one-day suspensions for their homage to Tebow. The school suspended them because other students joined them, clogging the hallways.

Hopefully they don't get good grades or eat all their vegetables, or they may be suspended for that too, I'm guessing.

Been there, done that. Nothing more than right-wing, partisan witch hunts that nobody gives a crap about.

Holder’s No. 2 in 2009:
Gunwalking, Fast and Furious
a ‘terrific idea’

Daily Caller, by Matthew Boyle

The head of the Department of Justice’s Criminal Division and Attorney General Eric Holder’s highest-ranking deputy, Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer, called Operation Fast and Furious and gun walking a “terrific idea” in emails to now-former Acting Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Director Ken Melson back in late 2009, according a report released by Republican staff of the House Oversight Committee.

On Dec. 3, 2009, Melson wrote to Breuer, “Lanny: We have decided to take a little different approach with regard to seizures of multiple weapons in Mexico. Assuming the guns are traced, instead of working each trace almost independently of the other traces from the seizure, I want to coordinate and monitor the work on all of them collectively as if the seizure was one case. . . We should meet again just to catch up on where we are in our gun-trafficking issues and we could talk about the above idea as well. Let me know what you think.”

Breuer responded on Dec. 4, 2009, writing, “We think this is a terrific idea and a great way to approach the investigations of these seizures. Our Gang Unit will be assigning an attorney to help you coordinate this effort.”

Lawyer Who Defended
GITMO Detainees Now In
Charge of GITMO Policy

Townhall, by Katie Pavlich

J. Christian Adams, Obama Justice Department Black Panther case whistleblower and author of Injustice was on Fox and Friends over the weekend with some alarming news. The very same lawyer who has adamantly defended GITMO detainees, has now been appointed to one of the highest positions within the Department of Justice to oversee GITMO policy.

J. Christian Adams, once an elections lawyer who accused the Justice Department of racial bias in its decision to not prosecute a voter intimidation case involving the New Black Panther Party, said Tony West's promotion from assistant attorney general for the Civil Division to acting associate attorney general is one more step toward letting radicals run the Justice Department.

"The most dangerous thing is that West is overseeing Gitmo policy. It's not that he's just some guy at the Justice Department licking envelopes," Adams told Fox News on Sunday.

Judicial Watch, a government watchdog group, noted that in Holder's announcement of West's promotion, he "conveniently omitted" West's role as the defense attorney for convicted Al Qaeda terrorist John Walker Lindh, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence after being captured in Afghanistan in 2001 while fighting with the Taliban.

"He actually pleaded guilty to aiding the Taliban and carrying explosives while fighting U.S. troops in the region," Judicial Watch noted of Lindh.

Adams said not only did West represent Lindh, but his firm was also involved in two other defense cases for terrorists working against the U.S.

You will remember that Obama renewed the Patriot Act this year. Where's the outrage?

There's no outrage because the Patriot Act was amended many times.

That's right because President Bush couldn't even listen in on terrorist conversations originating in the US because of the leftoids uproar...

so what does DUMBO do?

ACLU: Obama Has Quadrupled Warrantless Wiretaps
Breitbart's Big Government, by Warner Todd Huston

The ACLU released a report this week that shows that under Obama and his Attorney General Eric Holder, warrantless wiretapping and monitoring of American's electronic communications is "sharply on the rise."

After months of litigation and Freedom of Information Act requests, the ACLU obtained documents from the federal government proving that real-time monitoring of electronic communications inside the U.S. has climbed 60 percent since 2009 and far surpasses monitoring under President Bush.

The ACLU reports that the Dept. of Justice used "pen register" and "trap and trace" techniques 23,535 times in 2009 and 37,616 times in 2011.

A "pen register" captures outgoing data from a phone or email account while "trap and trace" captures incoming data.

During that same time period, the number of people whose telephones were the subject of pen register and trap and trace surveillance more than tripled. In fact, more people were subjected to pen register and trap and trace surveillance in the past two years than in the entire previous decade.

(ACLU's bold above)

"The number of authorizations the Justice Department received to use these devices on individuals' email and network data increased 361% between 2009 and 2011," the ACLU said.

It should be noted that all of this is perpetrated by the Dept. of Justice without obtaining traditional warrants.

White House Moves To Head Off Sequester Layoffs
National Journal, by Sara Sorcher

The White House moved to prevent defense and other government contractors from issuing mass layoff notices in anticipation of sequestration, even going so far to say that the contracting agencies would cover any potential litigation costs or employee compensation costs that could follow.

Some defense companies—including Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems and EADS North America—have said they expect to send notices to their employees 60 days before sequestration takes effect to comply with the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, which requires companies to give advance warning to workers deemed reasonably likely to lose their jobs. Companies appeared undeterred by a July 30 guidance from the Labor Department, which said issuing such notices would be inappropriate, due to the possibility that sequestration may be averted. The Labor Department also said companies do not have enough information about how the cuts might be implemented to determine which workers or specific programs could be affected should Congress fail to reach a compromise to reduce the deficit, triggering $1.2 trillion in spending cuts, half from defense, half non-defense. For 2013, that would amount to $109 billion in spending cuts.

OMB: We’ll Reimburse Employers for WARN Act Fallout
Commentary Magazine, by Alana Goodman

The Office of Management and Budget is now promising to compensate defense contractors for any legal penalties that would stem from violating the WARN Act, a federal law that requires employers to warn employees at least 60 days in advance of mass layoffs. The Obama administration had already been urging contractors to ignore the WARN Act in the case of the looming sequestration cuts, since the 60-day-minimum would mean hundreds of thousands of employees could get notices of pending layoffs just days before the presidential election. But it’s one thing for the Obama administration to tell contractors
