I'd still like to see Martha's sources. There is much misinformation out there these days.

Use Google you lazy thing!

Put a string of words from the post "in quotations" and cut and paste it into Google!

It is how I catch all the lefties who like to post quotes, yet don't link their sources because they know they are biased..

I won't do your homework for you lazy ass!

With the proposed defunding of PBS, I'm afraid we'll have even more misinformation.
Communications will be strictly the province of the rich, who obviously want to stay that way.

Why should my taxes go to an organization that only represents the liberal opinion?

No, you only have one size paintbrush...one little thing is perceived and that makes the entire proposition tainted...totally right-brained...

Whatever.

The system is bankrupt and I won't lose anything if they are cutoff, any more than I did when Air America went off the air.

If you and freetime think they are so vital, you can freely donate during the tedious pledge drive seasons.

Liberal guilt's finest moment.

Yeah, chuckmo - you should do that.
Maybe you can score for yourself a $75.00 WTTW beer coozie, or possibly even a $200.00 genuine virgin nylon backpack.

You will remember that Obama renewed the Patriot Act this year. Where's the outrage?

There's no outrage because the Patriot Act was amended many times.

New Patriot Act Controversy:
Is Washington Collecting
Your Cell-Phone Data?

Time Magazine, by Mark Benjamin

The U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee is weighing fresh concerns about the sweeping nature of domestic spying using one controversial section of the Patriot Act. This particular part of that law is notable because it has been divisive for years — and because during those years President Obama has quietly moved from being a Senator skeptical of the provisions to being an enthusiastic spy chief whose Administration embraces them.

Last Tuesday the committee met to consider the worries of some members, mostly Democrats, who say the Justice Department has drafted a breathtakingly broad interpretation of Section 215 of the Patriot Act. (See a photographic history of cell phones)

That section allows the FBI to seize without a warrant "any tangible things," like documents, so long as they are part of an effort to protect the country against international terrorism. The FBI can order a private company to turn over data as long as the bureau can convince a special national-security court, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, that the information is "relevant" to antiterrorism work.

Bush wanted the Patriot Act to use against terrorists and of course the liberals threw a major tantrum over it while DUMBO and company are using the widest possible interpretation of it to use it against American citizens and business and these pos hypocritical goddamn liberals and progressives say absolutely nothing.

Obama Recovery Is WORST EVER
Since Great Depression

Human Events, by Jim Hoft

Worst. President. Ever. A new report shows that real GDP has risen 0.8% over the 13 quarters since the recession began, compared to an average increase of 9.9% in past recoveries. Team Obama promised that US GDP growth would be 4.0% in 2011. The Fed announced last week that they see GDP at 2.7% to 2.9% this year.
