As I posted long ago the only thing that prevented many conservatives from denouncing the Patriot Act out of hand is that it had a scheduled to end date provision. So we accepted it as a temporary emergency measure but still never liked it. But as it keeps getting extended a little at a time we are becoming more concerned. This is not because Obama is President. It is not because a Dem is President. If Ronald Regan, Lincoln, or Washington were President we would have these same concerns. |
