HYPOCRIT ! You have posted previously, numerous times, that people on Scocial Security and Medicare, who PAID into the system, were government leeches. What's the matter, sparkless? Are you getting closer to the age where YOU can collect, and now you have changed your mind?

Let's start out with some basics, here. Social security is a retirement program which would be fully funded if Congress hadn't allowed people who hadn't paid into it to receive disability payments. The Social Security Disability program should be removed from the retirement plan and treated like the welfare program it is. Second, Medicare is a program for people 65 and over. I believe we should provide health care to our senior citizens. Medicaid is the program that needs to be addressed by Congress. It is another welfare program that takes money from people who work and gives it to people like you that are too lazy to work for a living.

You've probably already collected ten times over what you paid in taxes. In my book, that's a handout, not a benefit. How about explaining to us why you are healthy enough to attend countless school board and council meetings, not to mention hosting a radio show, yet you can't, or should I say won't work?

Hypocrit ! Make sure you added up what you have put into Social Security, and then refuse your checks that come in after that amount.
Speaking of handouts, since you are so rich that you moved from one part of town to a more affluent part of town, and by your bragging on this board, bought many investment properties, what the heck are you doing getting in excess of $30,000 in handouts for college for your kid? It's OK for YOU to get a handout? What did you contribute to the College Bound Fund, sparkless? What about the bankruptcy notation on the assessors website that quickly dissapeared when it was discovered by posters on this board?

BTW, you lying pos, I have not attended a council meeting in 3 years. As for the school board meetings, the only time you showed up was to push for knuckle-dragging union hack jobs for a school that was not needed or wanted.

He hides behind his posts on this board. He has seen me in person, and he had nothing to say. The spineless wimp is without a pair, IMO.

Sell in May: Dow Posts Worst Month in 2 Years
Fox Business News, by Adam Samson

The Dow tumbled 6.2% in May, the worst monthly performance for the blue-chip average since the same month in 2010 as Europe's deepening debt crisis and growing concerns over the soundness of the U.S. economic recovery spooked market participants. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 26.4 points, or 0.21%, to 12393, the S&P 500 slid 3 points, or 0.23%, to 1310 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 10 points, or 0.35%, to 2827. For the month, the Dow shed 6.2%, the S&P 500 tumbled 6.3% and the Nasdaq dropped 7.2%. In a sign of the anxiety

"I dunno"

The attorney general couldn't say when Agent Terry was killed,
how many guns have been recovered,
or how many Mexicans have died in "Fast and Furious".

Food Stamp Spending Up Over 100% Since Obama Took Office, From $39 Billion To $82 Billion
Image
Or as Obama would call it, mission accomplished.

Quote:
The vast majority of federal spending in the Senate farm bill, which is estimated to cost over $100 billion annually, is going toward food stamps, representing a 100 percent increase since President Barack Obama took office, according to Alabama Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions.

“This legislation will spend $82 billion on food stamps next year, and an estimated $770 billion over the next ten years. To put these figures in perspective, we will spend $40 billion federal dollars next year on roads and bridges,” said Sessions, the ranking member of the Senate Budget Committee.

“Food stamp spending has more than quadrupled since the year 2001. It has increased 100 percent since President Obama took office,” he said.
