Another one of the fraudulent and corrupt ways that DUMBO keeps the unemployment numbers skewed...

‘Green’ Jobs Estimates
Cost Taxpayers Millions

Carolina Journal (Raleigh, NC), by Don Carrington

Feds spend $8 million, states $48 million on repetitive surveys

RALEIGH — Sometime in March, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics will release its first report estimating the number of “green” or “clean” jobs in the nation. The $8 million BLS project follows $48 million worth of stimulus grants that the Labor Department had made to individual states to produce their own green job definitions and estimates.

North Carolina received $946,000 from the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act for its study. While most states released their green job reports last year, North Carolina’s project is behind schedule.

Stolen NASA laptop contained the
command codes to CONTROL the
International Space Station

Daily Mail [UK], by Hannah Roberts

A laptop stolen from NASA contains the control codes used to command the International Space Station. The unencrypted laptop stolen last year is among dozens of mobile devices containing sensitive information that have been reported missing from the space agency, an internal investigation has found. Giving testimony on the space agency's security issues, NASA Inspector General Paul K. Martin told Congress that 48 agency devices were lost or stolen over a two year period. The mobile devices, which contained personable data, intellectual property, and highly sensitive export-controlled data, were stolen between April 2009 and April 2011, CBS News reported.

Chinese hackers took over
NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab,
Inspector General reveals

Fox News

Chinese hackers gained control over NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in November, which could have allowed them delete sensitive files, add user accounts to mission-critical systems, upload hacking tools, and more -- all at a central repository of U.S. space technology, according to a report released Wednesday afternoon by the Office of the Inspector General.

That report revealed scant details of an ongoing investigation into the incident against the Pasadena, Calif., lab, noting only that cyberattacks against the JPL involved Chinese-based Internet Protocol (IP) addresses.

Paul K. Martin, NASA's inspector general, put his conclusions bluntly.

"The attackers had full functional control over these networks," he wrote.

JPL is a jewel in NASA's space technology crown.

Beyond a wealth of exploration programs, such as the recent GRAIL mission to study the moon and the upcoming Mars Science Laboratory, JPL manages the Deep Space Network, a network of antenna complexes on several continents that monitors both outer space and planet Earth.

Nine State AGs Cite 21 Illegal
Actions by Obama Administration

Cybercast News Service, by Fred Lucas

The Obama administration through regulatory agencies, mandates, lawsuits and threats of lawsuits, has broken the law and overstepped its constitutional bounds, said a report released Monday from nine Republican state attorneys general. The report cited prominently the individual mandate to purchase health insurance and the mandate for employers – without a conscience exemption – to cover the cost of employee abortifacients, sterilization and contraception under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, better known as Obama care. The report focused on what the attorneys general considered the administration’s attacks on religious

U.S. Extends Its Run of Strong Job Growth Another Month

By SHAILA DEWAN

In yet another sign of a strengthening recovery, the United States added 227,000 net jobs in February, the third consecutive month of gains over 200,000. The unemployment rate was unchanged from 8.3 percent in January, the Labor Department reported Friday, as nearly a half million people who had been staying on the sidelines rejoined the search for work.

The strong job growth numbers could bolster President Obama’s effort to make the case to voters that his economic policies are working. The Labor Department also said job gains in January and December were stronger than previously reported, revising them upward to 284,000 and 223,000 respectively.

Average wages, which many economists were watching closely, ticked up as well, from $23.28 an hour to $23.31 an hour, but still trailed inflation. If growth in hiring is accompanied by stronger growth in wages, it could be a sign that unemployment among qualified workers is dropping and that more of the remaining people looking for work are not well-suited for current vacancies.

The report followed a flurry of positive economic reports about the American economy, including a continued rise in consumer confidence and growing strength in the manufacturing sector.

LIES.

In their quest to show ANYTHING positive, this worthless administration has no problem spewing out one lie after another conjuring up numbers they feel like.

The real rate is almost 20%.

In my entire life, I have never seen so many people out of work.

I'm sure DUMBO will next be claiming credit for the seasonal summer time workers.

does anyone on this board besides edge readily lap up the bullshit DUMBO and his cohorts feed you?

does anyone on this board besides edge really believe people are going to back to work?

I'm saying they are reporting what the DUMBO administration feeds them.

It's up to their readers to believe that bullshit or not.

Unlike you liberal idiots who simply believe everything that comes out of DUMBOs lying teeth without question.

As I said, they are reporting exactly what the administration gives them.

The smart ones realize it's all spin. They do not have be ''told'' anything.

Unlike you,

To this day, you have yet to challenge DUMBO on anything except his Al Green impersonation. You believe everything he says don't you?
