Wow.
HIP2 is the expanded medicaid made possible because of the Affordable Care Act.
It's funded by the ACA.

Obviously people with ODS don't know that, and you can thank the President.

They were on medicaid, some on the paid, some on the free. They were booted off, and then had to apply for HIP2. The HIP2 doesn't pay for the one daughters treatments for her spina bifida and bilateral hip dysplasia. They are now out of pocket. I am glad she at least has some kind of insurance, but this could have been better. obamacare screwed up everything.

Again you're wrong. You can thank Mike Pence for HIP2 not covering your daughters condition. In other sates where medicaid expansion was fully implemented your daughter would be covered with no out of pocket expense. Yes, it could have been better but thanks to Mike Pence and his friends it's not.
You are the perfect example of uninformed, misguided people voting AGAINST their interests.

A couple of things really stand out...First tiger's relatives were on medicaid...something the rethuglicons have been trying to get rid of for years. I really don't think tiger's rethuglicons would appreciate her family being a drain on their government.

Secondly Edge you are sooooo right! She is misguided and constantly has voted against her families interests! pence refused to expand medicare that would have funded her family. He has received exceptions to ACA since he was elected. Maybe if Tiger would read what's going on instead of listening to faux news she would realize she is cutting off her nose of to spite her face!

There is a big difference in the former medicaid coverage. I had to pay for the one daughters medicaid. It was not free. The other daughter qualified for free because of her medical problems. But, there was co-pays under medicaid, so it wasn't a total freebie. But,there was more coverage for treatments under her medicaid. Now, her every 2 week treatments have to come out of pocket.
obama messed everything up.

Yep, it's really astonishing how stupid these people are. Republicans want to start more wars, give millionaires and billionaires more tax breaks, get rid of unions, regulations, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and public education and yet these idiots who don''t have a pot to piss in, still vote for them. You show them the facts and they stick their heads in the sand and ignore it.
It's truly amazing.

obama messed up the medical coverage for everyone. A lot of employers only have part time workers. There are very few full time jobs available, because of obamacare. Deny it all you want, but it is a fact.

Bullsh*t.
There are plenty of full time well paying jobs for people who have the know how and skills to do the job. There are jobs available for welders, machinists, accounting, plumbers, engineers, electrical, nursing, teaching, truck driving etc.
Morons who don't have the skills are stuck with the low paying part time service jobs with no benefits and sorry, that's not the fault of the president. In states where Medicaid has been expanded these people qualify for Medicaid.

Again you're clueless,(typical for a low information, ignorant conservative) part time employment is at 18.7%.
The reason that most NEW jobs are part time is simply corporate greed.
Quote:
The Labor Department has been collecting this since 1968, a time when only 13.5% of US employees were part-timers. That number peaked at 20.1% in January 2010. The latest data point, over five years later, is only modestly lower at 18.7% last month. If the pre-recession percentage is a recovery target, we're only about half-way there.

Obamacare and Part-Time Employment

Over the past two years many have speculated that the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) has played a role in company decisions about full-time versus part-time employment. The $2,000 per employee penalty for companies that do not comply with regulations has influenced some to rethink their employment policies. In July 2013 the government pushed the start of the penalty from January 2014 to January 2015. But the anticipation of the penalty, even though delayed a year, no doubt influenced the decisions of private employers.

With regard to Obamacare and part-time employment, the surge in part-time employment was triggered by the recession, not by the Affordable Care Act, as the next chart clearly illustrates.

Part-Time Jobs Are Increasing. But Don't Blame Obamacare -- Yet.

In fact, there’s no evidence that the ACA is forcing a shift to part-time work, according to a new Urban Institute and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation report.

You are wrong. The announcement was made at the college that all jobs would be no more than 28 hours a week because of obamacare. Also, all non salaried personal were getting their hours cut to less than 30 a week because of obamacare. The same with other family members jobs.
Employers are keeping workers hours under the limit because of the costs associated with obamacare.

No I'm not.
You might want to ask a 4th grader to read this and explain it to you. You obviously do not understand it:

The Labor Department has been collecting this since 1968, a time when only 13.5% of US employees were part-timers. That number peaked at 20.1% in January 2010. The latest data point, over five years later, is only modestly lower at 18.7% last month. If the pre-recession percentage is a recovery target, we're only about half-way there.

....or try this one from another source that further proves you are wrong:

Part-time workers represent 18 percent of total employment -- below the post-recession peak of 20 percent. Since President Obama signed health reform into law in March 2010, all of the overall increase in civilian employment has been among people who usually work full time. These data are consistent with a recent Urban Institute analysis that found little evidence that health reform has increased part-time work.

Sorry, they are not the only jobs available, look in the want ads and outside of the local area.

Yes if you don't have any skills or training you're qualified only for crappy part time jobs.
Otherwise, like I said before there are plenty of full time well paying jobs for people who have the know how and skills to do the job. There are jobs available for welders, machinists, accounting, plumbers, engineers, electrical, nursing, teaching, truck driving etc.
