And so it begins......

Wisconsin Assembly Passes Anti-Union Bill (Right to Work)

Published February 25, 2011
| Associated Press

MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin Assembly early Friday passed a bill that would strip most public workers of their collective bargaining rights -- the first significant action on the new Republican governor's plan.

The vote put an end to three straight days of punishing debate, but the political standoff over the bill is far from over. The measure now goes to the Senate, where minority Democrats have been missing for a week, preventing a vote in that chamber.

No one knows when -- or if -- the Senate Democrats will return from their hideout in Illinois. Republicans who control the chamber sent state troopers out looking for them at their homes on Thursday, but they turned up nothing.

Right out of the repuk handbook:
Before the election:

Quote:
He (John Boehner) recalled his time as a committee chairman, when he worked cooperatively with Edward M. Kennedy and other Democrats on education legislation. "If Ted Kennedy and I can work together and find enough common ground to move the ball down the field, there isn't any reason why members should not be spending more time working together," he said.

After the election

John Boehner has a message for President Obama and the Democrats: Don't expect the Republicans to play nice if, as expected, they take over the House following next Tuesday's elections.

Hey there Chazmo, have you forgotten how Pelosi and Reed conducted things when they were in charge?

I don't recall you complaining then that they were not playing nice.

That is the hypocrisy on the left, they were just in charge, until November, and after ruling like tyrants, they now act like spoiled brats now that America has voted them out of control.

The left was in charge, for two years!

They ran the show like despots, refusing any bipartisanship with the right.

The American voters didn't like their socialist agenda and in November 2010 voted them out in electoral avalanches large and small across the country.

Now the right is reversing the socialist damage they inflicted and is trying to shrink government and reduce the tax burden from the voters that elected them into office for just that reason.

But if the unions are not allowed access to vast amounts of taxpayers money, then the democrats can't get large donations from the unions of taxpayer's money to fund their candidates elections.

By depriving the unions of access to taxpayers money, we are depriving the democrats access to taxpayer's money for election campaigns.

Yes I do...the repuks instituted a 60 vote super-majority. They should have passed everything they wanted when they had a chance to...just like the repuks are doing now!

Yes I do...

Then you certainly remember how they JAMMED a shittty piece of legislation (Husseinocare or muslimpresidentcare or something like that) down the throats of a public that largely wanted no part of it?

It certainly lacks the vehement hated of your post opposing the republipukes, it is as if you are so full of hatred of conservative that it actually makes you physically ill to even consider them.
