Predatory sex-offender sentenced in rape of girl

Roger Lester Larocque IIIHILLSBORO -- A 22-year-old transient with a history of sex offenses was sentenced today to 7½ years in prison for raping a 13-year-old runaway girl.
Under a plea agreement, Washington County Circuit Judge Thomas W. Kohl ordered that Roger Lester Larocque III serve all but the last 15 months of the sentence under Measure 11, without time off for good behavior or programs.

Larocque pleaded guilty to second-degree rape and unlawful contact with a child, a little-used class C felony that means a predatory sex offender communicated in any way with a person under the age of 18 for the purpose of sex.

Wyoming denies appeal of man who murdered Billings teen

The Wyoming Supreme Court on Monday denied the appeal of Dale Wayne Eaton who was convicted of the 1988 kidnapping, rape and murder of Billings teenager Lisa Marie Kimmell.
