Body pulled from Hammond pond were is expresso?

HAMMOND | Police are investigating the death of an unidentified man whose body was pulled from a pond Thursday afternoon at Dowling Park.

Detectives haven't found any evidence supporting foul play, Hammond Police Chief Brian Miller said.

A parks department employee saw the body floating face-down about eight feet off the west edge of the pond around 1 p.m. The Hammond Fire Department removed the body, which showed no visible signs of trauma, Miller said.

The body appears to be a white or Hispanic male in his late 20s or early 30s, with average height and weight. He was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, blue jeans and no shoes, Miller said.
