I tell you this I hit a lot of nerves with that topic about the Gary transportation system and other topics.

oh yea they did! What a bunch of yellow journalist I scooped the idiots by months and years when I wrote about the thundering pines of Gary and Kirk yard ! What a bunch of sore losers!

They were regularly editing my post only seconds after I would post them and put in misspelled words and I would go back and change it back.

I have been around the block more than a few times and when I did the story on habitat for humanity and the churches they knew they had to get off their duffs and get back in the game in Gary.

Remember what is good for the goose is good for the gander and if people of Color (African American) can be identified by race in topics and news articles than so can Anglo Saxon and Spanish people.

I don't mean to perpetuate the racial divides, but when a criminal is still on the loose it helps to use words like Caucasian, African American, and Hispanic. OTOH there's no point in describing the person if they've already been caught, charged, or convicted.

I have seen too many articles that do not describe the race of an at large Caucasian and it is supposed to be assumed if the article does not say African American or Hispanic then it is supposed to be assumed that it was a Caucasian which is perceived by many to be unfair.

Dirty Journalism sells papers on both sides of the track.

They snicker on this side of the tracks or 30 as they do on the other side and they can't wait to get up in the morning to talk about it.

Lois, The only trouble with this board is that so few people use it compared to the Times. I like them both.

I like the Times board more, because I can post to a topic there and not run the risk of an expresso66 knocking it down with an emoticon or some nonsense post like OFF TOPIC! REPORTED!
