For crying out loud Tipper Gore, if you don't like the programming stop paying for HBO and donate the extra money to your local church as a sign of repentance. You're being entirely oversensitive as are the people who are cancelling their subscriptions. In fact this entire allegation about people cancelling their subscriptions sounds grossly sensationalized. For the most part anybody who would take the time to pay for HBO knows what they are ordering. Shows like: Hung (Male high school teacher turned prostitute) Big Love (Polygamist family) Oz (Prison sex) I mean your complaint would be like if I ordered a porno and bitched that there was nudity, went to a steakhouse and complained that the menu wasn't vegetarian, or went to a casino and complained about people gambling. |
