Life sucks sometimes and I was just told Tuesday September 2nd, that I have inoperable, untreatable lung cancer and emphysema so bad that they couldn't do a biopsy because there was a 60-80% chance that it would pop my lung, cause me to have a heart attack or kill me instantly. I'm only 51 and that wasn't the answer I wanted to hear when I went to the doctor to see what was wrong, damn. Then again, after smoking cigarettes for 35 years, what did I expect?

I really don't feel like it's my time, but according to a professional medical specialist, it is. Waaaaaaaah! Another frustrating bitch is that they couldn't give me a definite estimate of when and I have a lot of other things I wanted to do, I really don't have time for this.

At least I know that it's coming soon and it won't just be a sudden surprise to me or my family. What do I do now? I can't prioritize everything because I don't even have a time frame to work with. Should I try to get my new dentures? Do my cataracts even matter now? f***!

- Spend as much time as possible with my grand daughter.
- I have a lot of people I want to see and talk with.
- Discuss with my children where my belongings would be most useful.
- Convince my mother that I really do want a juggling, smart ass joke cracking, cigar smoking, bum type clown at my very short funeral.
- Party afterward.

I am so sorry to hear this Maxx. I wondered where you had been these last few days.

As for what you should do next..first pray. See other doctors for help and by all means spend as much time with your loved ones as you possibly can. Good luck to you.

Don't give up the fight. Millions of people have survived cancer. You can be one of them.

If you want to survive you need to help make your body as strong as possible so you body’s immune system can fight the cancer. Quit smoking now. Eat Healthy. Drink lots of water. Exercise. Maintain a positive mental attitude. It’s not too late for you. You need to give your body all the ammunition it can gather to fight the disease that wants to kill you.

Good luck & stay strong.

We've had our disagreements but I am sorry to hear that.

You should continue to live your life as you see fit. Race car drivers don't quit at the end of a race because the tires are worn, the brakes are squeaking and the engine is burning oil. They put the petal to the metal and scream toward the finish line. Your doctor's will give you great drugs to ease your pain and if burning a fat one is your thing, go for it. Keep us updated and God bless.

Great advice and I don't think you realize how right you may be.

There is a video about vitamin B-17. a vitamin that has been slowly eased out of our diets through various means, including our eating of more processed foods, as cancer rates have risen. This vitamin may be my only chance of surviving. Even though, in real terms it isn't really that expensive, but there is no way, on my meager SS Disability, that I can afford the treatment. I have considered a fund raoser or asking for donations and I can volunteer to be the guinea pig.

The video documentary by G. Edward Griffin

The content of this video shows once again the discrimination against every person, theraphy of idea's not in line with the regular medicine. Quote from the book "Cancer is a fungus":

G. Edward Griffin marshals the evidence that cancer is a deficiency disease - like scurvy or pellagra - aggravated by the lack of an essential food compound in modern man's diet. That substance is vitamin B17. In its purified form developed for cancer therapy, it is known as Laetrile.

<snip>

Why has orthodox medicine waged war against this non-drug approach? The author contends that the answer is to be found, not in science, but in politics - and is based upon the hidden economic and power agenda of those who dominate the medical establishment.

Maxx - I'm so sorry to hear that. My mom's was around her aorta. Dr. Cooper here wouldn't touch it, but sent her to a very talented surgeon in chicago. After radiation and chemo to shrink the tumor away from the aorta, they operated almost ten years ago. She died this spring from flu/pneumonia, but we had her that extra 9 1/2 years! See another surgeon/oncologist and see what they can do.

In the meantime, clean out your closets WITH your kids. I wish I knew the stories that went with the stuff I found. What was so special about this that they kept it 40 years, 60 years, 70 years from elementary school? If it meant that much, why don't I know the story?

Best of luck.

I understand that, but my being a public figure (like it or not, I am), you should also understand that my future aspirations couldn't allow for libelous accusations such as your's to persist

I'm a fighter, a lover and I ain't dead yet!
