Maybe you can believe wiki:Self-ignition can refer either to
* Spontaneous combustion or
* the ability of Diesel fuel to ignite under high compression and the use of that phenomenon in Diesel engineshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-ignition Ooooohhhhhh.....hedge.....that has to be soooooooo embarrassing.
Have a great night.
Had a great weekend, thank you.
What should I be embarrassed about?...LOL, I'm not the one that first bashes Wiki & then turn around & use it as a source like you.
If you wish to be a yahoo & still insist that it's 'spontaneous combustion' that's fine, I prefer the more scientific term:
stratified charge compression ignition http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HCCIhttp://paultan.org/archives/2007/04/17/ ... -ignition/And BTW Miss Vito, you're dead wrong about your claim that the battery supplies the power to the electrical system while the car is running.
If that was true a car would not run with a dead battery. When you jump start a car with a dead battery it still runs doesn't it?
That's because the
alternator is producing all the electrical power when the engine is running
And that's precisely why it's necessary to charge a dead battery with a battery charger as an alternator will never fully charge it.
