Why is it that everyone is afraid to say what the problem really is as it relates to crime and the black male? It's the culture stupid. Thats my opinion.
Where have you been? Many of us have said it repeatedly. This culture you speak of has been manufactured by shake down artists like Jesse Jackson, both Sr & Jr. The entitlement mentality, playing the race card, blaming every problem in the black community on racism & mid 1800s slavery is all a for profit enterprise for a select few in addition to providing a core base of voters for the Democratic party.
Ok even if you were stupid enough to buy into that mindset there would be no justification with respect to the death of Gary, IN. The city leaders are black and the people literally ran off whites who had chosen not to flea. The only primary reason Gary is dead is because of black racism, pure and simple. Any other factors are merely contributory. The secondary reason of course being a sense of a lack of personal safety. When people felt that a trip to Gary had a high probability of getting you vandalized, robbed or worse the retail business community withered and for all practical purposes died. Even police cars on city property are not immune to vandalism. Remember that?
The day you could not even drive that short distance on 5th Ave to those malls just across the toll road from the Gary Airport and could not be sure you were even safe in the parking lot was the day Gary lost all hope.
Gary provides us a perfect example of why all this race card/ entitlement crap is just a bunch of horse pucky. The true problem is African American thinking rather than thinking like Americans of black descent; it is intentionally counter productive, as noted above.
