Giovanni's has a couple hidden gems on their menu.

Their pizza is as good as the best in the area, and it's reasonably priced ($12 for a 14" sausage pizza).

The 21-day aged strip steak may well be the best value steak in the Chicago area. It's the same cut and quality you'll get at David Burke's Primehouse or Smith&Wollensky in Chicago, but at roughly half the price.

The other items I've tried on their menu are very good as well, but these two stand out from the rest.

And you will leave the restaurant without your ears ringing, something you can't say when you are leaving Cafe Borgia.

Pizza is very underrated, but a bit rich.

Spinach fettuccine is very good.

Above average for a suburban Italian restaurant.
