There is a police station at the new East Chicago station. Is that something that has made the station safe for riders early in the AM and after 8 pm. It seems that it has a patrol car that watches the place late into the night M-F. |

You can go basically anywhere in E.C and you're never exactly safe enough to always be comfortable |
