I am almost astonished by some of the comments I see here in defense of a man caught buying drugs who made the statement he'd make $500 on the deal. Who do you think he was going to make that profit from? Teens maybe? Well maybe he has a strict policy of not selling to minors, I don't know. Sorry folks but you'll just have to buy your drugs from someone else. The sick part is you'll probably elect him to be a city councilman. Now I'm not saying this isn't generally a pleasant fellow and a good officer because I don't know him. OTOH any cop who sells drugs, knowing what drugs do more than most anybody, can't be too much of an officer of the law in my book.
Between the 2 stories over 100 comments on the Times main board with a lot of the comments supportive of the cop-drug dealer. WTF?
