Is this guy stupid or what?

He went to VU and asked to locate the bookstore in his development. Why would the university want to locate off campus? Especially since it relocated its Physical Plant from off campus to Don Hovey three years ago(and it was located right where this fools development is supposedly going). Plus its been known for years that that bookstore was going in the new union, in fact it was even mentioned in the Times 2 years ago as well, when the University went to the city for the permits to start construction of the new Harre Union, which was before he decided to start this project.

Then he says that VU's policy of making people live on campus for the first 3 years is hampering his plans for apartments. Duh, VU has had that policy for years as well, maybe he should have researched a little better before making such bold plans about housing. What he can't still build the apartments and rent out to the public, his plans are only good for university students? Whats he trying to pull here? Seeing if he can rip off a few kids every year into paying more rent then they really need to with their student loans? What the general public isn't good enough to rent to now?

And lets not forget how he now wants to go the cheap route with the EIFS and not stone exterior like he agreed to when the development started. Sorry buddy, its not anyone's fault but your own for undertaking to much at one time like you did

Plus I laughed at how you overspent for a restaurant(Big Wheel) just to put in a bank. Now that was a bright idea, force a long time business to close by offering him more money than he could refuse(the owners own words when it was announced he was closing), just so you could put your partners bank in its place instead.

He was going to rent out the condo's to students at VU

The only problem is, I knew that VU restricts people to living on campus for 3 years so why didn't he?
