Northwest Indiana Discussion

I see a lot of people very interested in what happens where they live. A lot of posts on this and other message boards seem to be about what is wrong or controversial. There must be some good things about Porter County. What do you think they are???????

A lot of people are moving to Porter County. The taxes are not as screwed up as Lake County. The crime is perceived to be lower. Homeowners can get a bigger lot for the same price as a smaller one in Lake Co. Country living with a decent commute time.

Thanks for the response High Roller. You mentioned that crime is perceived to be lower. It does exist, but I think that any measurements of crimes per 1,000 population would put it lower. I can't find the study I saw but I remember it.....I think. Wait, who am I kidding....I can't remember what I had for dinner.
