I've not been keeping tabs on entertainment news but apparently these shows are canceled:

Dirty Sexy Money (my #4 favorite on this list, but not a big fan)
Eli Stone (my #1 on this list and my #4 favorite overall)
Lipstick Jungle (yuck!)
My Own Worst Enemy (my #2)
Pushing Daisies (my #3)

They are all on my Season Pass schedule except for Lipstick Jungle, which I watched 5 minutes of the pilot and then deleted it never to watch another minute of the show ever.

One board poll so far has a poll running as follows:

What show are you saddest about being canceled this year?
Never watched any of 'em!
43.3%
Pushing Daisies
18.4%
Eli stone
12.9%
Dirty Sexy Money
9.4%
My Own Worst Enemy
8.1%
Lipstick Jungle
7.8%

Of new shows announced I will watch the pilot of Doll House and Castle but have my doubts whether I'll be a fan of either. So it seems broadcast television is continuing it's trend to take away 4 shows I watch to add maybe 2 shows I might watch.

Then there's the constant gaps in the viewing season. Glad I have Tivo to keep track of new episodes! And the storyline twists that fail to keep my interest like Heroes and the way it's looking Lost. I'd like to think that competition will eventually win out for better programming, especially as we move towards more internet delivered shows. We can only hope!

Looks like a few more of my viewing choices are getting the axe.

http://tvdramas.about.com/od/tvshowsaz/a/cancel0506.htm

Jericho (Are they kidding?)
Moonlight (Was just getting interesting)
Shark (Grrrrr)
The Dead Zone (Are they nuts?)
Bionic Woman (Hardly got started)
Journeyman (Still waiting on the punchline)
Dirt (I was a latecomer but was just starting to look forward to how the storyline would develop)
Las Vegas (Same as with dirt)
Cane (I watched it occasionally when nothing else was on. I think it had possibilities but they were never developed well)
There were others but I didn't watch them.

And now the "safe list." There's a lot on the protected list that I never cared for. I commented on a few.

ABC
Private Practice - (Let it Go!!)

CBS
The Mentalist

Fox
Fringe - (Don't care for it)
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

NBC
Chuck
Life - (Don't care for it)

The CW
90210 - (Don't care for it, now or when it was canceled before)

ABC Family
Greek
Lincoln Heights

AMC
Breaking Bad
Mad Men

FX Network
Sons of Anarchy

HBO
Big Love
Entourage
In Treatment
True Blood

Showtime
Dexter - Renewed for 2 seasons (I hate it! What's next? The Hannibal Lector Chronicles??)

USA Network
Law & Order: Criminal Intent
Monk
Psych

Summer Series Renewals

Army Wives (Renewed for season three) - USA Network
Flashpoint - CBS
In Plain Sight - USA Network
The Secret Life of the American Teenager - ABC Family
