Didn't Tom Philpot use that as a campaign slogan when seeking the office he now holds?

Turns out, he is no longer licensed as a podiatrist according to the website for the state licensing commission.

Here's what I found today:

Search Results are limited to 500 records. If the license you are searching for is not in the list, try searching by license number or repeating your search with more criteria.

For a more detailed view of a licensee's background, select the licensee name from the alphabetical list below. Click the numbers below the grid to see additional pages of licensees. To return to the Search page, use the Search Again button below. (Do not use the browser Back key.)

Full Name License Number Profession License Type License Status City State
Thomas Richard Philpot 07000538A Podiatric Medicine Board Podiatrist Expired Non-Renewable Highland IN
Thomas Richard Philpot Podiatric Medicine Board Podiatrist Pending Application Highland IN
Thomas Richard Philpot 07000538B Podiatric Medicine Board CSR-Podiatrist Expired Non-Renewable HIGHLAND IN

Wonder why his license is non-renewable?

He still has his law license listed in good standing though.

Freetime supported Philpot and now she turns her back on him by trying to discredit him. We all know she was a Philpot girl.

This is a lie. I've never supported Philpot. I've thought for a long time that he is not a stable person.
McDermott, on the other hand, came out early and publicly for Philpot, but as he is known to do apparently stabbed him in the back.

Gee, you remind me of a chubby white haired VERY "mature looking" paL of McDermott's with the way you make up stories out of whole cloth.

Good thing the nwi.com archives are here to prove you the liar you are-STILL!

The signs should be picked up. I agree.

You're still the same old aggravating dude, aren't you?

The signs are NOT in my yard. I wouldn't have ever had a Philpot sign. They are in other places in North Hammond.

The last time i put up signs they were stolen the first night.

Now WHY did Philpot lose his podiatrist license?

I guess all the people supporting Philpot who said it was a wise thing for him to miss the debates at WJOB,IUN, and Purdue Cal were all proven wrong. I guess the peoples choice did not want to tell the people what his platform was. The so called great minds of his camp said the newspapers would be unfair. How did that work out? Mayor Mcdermott,Stu and Vera at WJOB,Steve Fowler, annoying Dave from Highland.....

Yes, Bigdog, that dude Dave from Highland IS very annoying.
I don't know the guy, never met him, yet he told the WJOB listeners yesterday that I don't drive.
That's untrue, and a repeat of one of the mcmob's favorite lies about me. As if that's any of their business anyway.
He decided, after the fact, to insert himself into a good-natured difference of opinion that I had with the folks up in Whiting who are pushing that big remodeling plan for Whiting Park.
That project is being funded with RDA money, and Hammond kicks $3.5 million a year into that from our casino money. Robertsdale residents, those living in the 46394 zip code, aren't charged.
That's why I think it is improper for them to charge other Hammond residents like myself $5 to park at Whiting Park.
HIGHLAND Dave said he doesn't have a problem with the $5 fee, and that's fine for him. Highland residents aren't kicking in for the project.
Dave has often parroted mcmob positions. That's fine too, just leave me out of it!

That is the problem Freetime. Dave from Highland,Vera and Stu from Munster. And several of the callers to WJOB are very good at making excuses for the irresponsible spending, by the leadership of Hammond.

some guy from Schererville, didn't give his name, was really singing McDermott's praises yesterday. Maybe it was one of Marissa's lawyer pals.
I don't know about you but I'd gladly trade Tom McDermott for a player to be named later!

It appears since Philpot lost the primary for sheriff, he has decided we no longer need to hear his "wisdom" on WJOB.
Again today, Philpot did not appear for his radio program. He hasn't been there since the election.
So, former Doctor Toe, does that mean your program has been a campaign ploy all along, and not the public service you passed it off as?
I suppose that also means that when he was campaigning on the radio, we were paying him to do his county job without getting anything in return.
Speaking of his county job (coroner) is he too disappointed by his loss to perform his duties?
Wonder if he has even been in the office since the election?
Maybe he has taken me up on my public request that he retire from "public service" and stop seeking office after office? I can only hope.
Even though he can no longer practice podiatry, he can still practice as a lawyer. At least he still has a license to do that.
