If last November property tax collections were dismal I am very interested in seeing how this year goes. |

I've not been keeping track. Did the money ever come in? Have they figured out the reason people didn't pay? I wonder how many were foreclosures vs how many just didn't have the money to pay or pay in full. Well our elected leaders sometimes might have paid lip service to the problem but never really treated the cost of property taxes as an actual crisis. But as the revenue fails to come in eventually they might begin to catch on. |
