It's finally happened. The Lake County Health Department is finally pulling the plug on the satellite office in Hammond.

I knew this would happen. The process took far longer than I expected it too. Maybe the county was waiting for the right climate to close the office. Budget woes and a fresh controversy started no less by McDermott.

1. I wonder how much time passes before Mayor McDermott will call Nick Doffin, Dr. Susan Best, and all the health board members and leave threatening messages on their phone? What temper tantrum will he throw this time?

2. I wonder how many hours McDermott crys and whines about this closure - that his world is now caving in day by day.

3. I wonder how many beers he gulps over this one? Maybe he should call HillaryBilly and ask her to join him for a few of them.
