Well, Woerpel deserves a pat on the back. Street lights for his district. Make sure they are LED. Save the city even more long term $$$$$.
That in itself is doing more than Opinker did in years other than to use gaming money to rent dumpsters to feed his re-election campaign.
Opinker owes Hammond residents a check for $32,000 +/-, the dumpsters he leased from November 1 to November 8th, just before the General Election. The dumpsters had Opinker's yellow and black political signs on them. Reported else where $4,000 was spent on the the signs for the 79 dumpsters.
Hell, Philpott went to jail for a lot less, $25,000!
