Here are the highlights of the meeting: Mrs. White was absent this evening. Recognition/Presentation: A presentation was made on the ESL Boot Camp that was held this summer. The purpose of this was to improve English speaking skills for the children, and the parents of the children. The mothers in the program sang 3 songs in English this evening. They were entertaining ! Unfinished Business: The board policies update was adopted this evening. No speakers at either Public Expression Session this evening. Calendar: The next regular board meeting will be on Monday August 15th, 5:30pm 41 Williams Street. My take: Congratulations to the ESL parents and students !!! |
