The Times wrote a report about citations received by local businesses and a social club for "public nuisance for promoting professional gambling". I'll bet you...(no I'm not soliciting a wager, it's just a figure of speech) that within the hollow halls of city hall, perhaps even in the local inspections department, people wager their wages. The concept of gambling has been destigmatized and promoted by the same government that wants to confiscate these people's recreational, discretionary dough. There are acres of square feet of "public nuisnce" on our lakefront. Police work security for them! But the biggest nuisance that annoys me is the constant promoting of gambling with mailbox stuffers the casino mails out. That should be illegal!
