Now this may be bad news for Jr. If anyone knows how contracts may have been rigged, it may come out in this venue. My bet Jr is going to settle this before trial, Lake County Style, a check just before it goes to trial, on the steps of the Federal Court House.

The former director of a northwestern Indiana nonprofit group is suing Hammond's mayor and her former employer over her 2011 firing.
Carlotta Blake-King's federal lawsuit filed Monday names Mayor Thomas McDermott Jr. and her former employer, United Neighborhoods Inc., and others.
The Times of Munster reports her suit claims she was fired as executive director of the Hammond group in 2011 after she angered McDermott by running against one of his supporters.
McDermott tells the Post-Tribune that Blake-King was fired for cause.
Her suit claims the ties between United Neighborhoods and Hammond are strong, including that the group receives more than $100,000 each year from the city and casino tax revenue. Blake-King suit seeks wages and benefits she would have received if she wasn't fired, and compensatory and punitive damages.
