Hammond Robotics was also at the Lego Competition. Showing what they are doing. And where the Lego kids can go after Legos.
I had a granddaughter in the Hammond Robotics, one grandson on the Clark middle, and one grandson in the Irving elementary. These kids spend hours after school in these teams. I went yesterday so I could see all of the hard work they have been doing.

Teamwork pays off for 13 area middle schools competing in Lego competition in Hammond
The 13 teams entered in Saturday’s 13th annual FIRST LEGO League competition at the Hammond Area Career Center represented schools from Crown Point, Hammond, Highland and Whiting.
Two Hammond middle schools, Clark and Scott, sent teams as did the following Hammond elementary schools – Columbia, Edison, Franklin, Irving, Jefferson, Lincoln, Morton and Wallace.
Students from Douglas MacArthur Elementary School in Crown Point participated as did teams from St. John the Baptist School and Whiting Middle School, both of Whiting, and Warren Elementary School in Highland.
