Talk around town about a Priest from Cal City was walking his dog and several young thugs worked him over near his church. He told them who he was and they replied, so what!
That was in Cal City, but that's pretty close to Hammond.

Maybe that is the reason their youngest daughter goes to Andrean as opposed to Bishop Noll? Too close to the hood! For them. I f you did the same with your child. You would be considered a racist by them! Not wanting to go to school with the East Chicago children etc...

Andrean? Isn't that a private Catholic school? Isn't "JED" always on the radio railing against those who have made public school teachers out to be "the bad guy" (even though that accusation exists only in his two-volt brain)? What is it with the Kuziaks, Dedelows, Reardons, etc. who love to drop hints about their exploits and contacts in Hammond/Gary/East Chicago/Whiting but lead white bread existences in Munster and on top of that send their kids to private schools?

Lets give little man Jed a break. Remember he used to have a Union Labors card twenty five years ago. And he does live on the north end of Munster. Maybe that is close enough to Hammond to give him some street cred with the home boys from the hood!
