Apparently Mayor McDermott is looking at ways to save $$$ with the the Hammond Budget.

What would you do to reduce spending?

The Mayor was talking about selling the water department and changed his mind. The water department is a wonderful revenue source.

Maybe it is time to close the city court?

The budget would be quite reasonable without all the mcthugs, and all the pet projects gone. United Neighborhoods Inc. is a good example of a waste of money. The new tax sale listings has a bunch of their properties for sale again.
