Here are the highlights of the meeting:

Special Presentations/Recommendations For Approval:
The seating at the Morton High School Auditorium will be upgraded to reflect ADA compliance. New seats will be installed, and 8 ADA compliant seats will be added also. There will be a loss of just a handful of regular seats due to the ADA upgrade. the floor also will be redone. The total cost of this project is $169,099.
A change order for a Scoreboard for the Eggers Track was approved this evening. An additional $82,000 was added, but there still is a kitty of $40,000 extra, if needed. The track will be used by both Eggers and Hammond High athletes.
The Technology Server Room for the SCH needs upgrading of the heating, cooling, and humidity control. The upgrade will cost about $125,000.
Strategic Planning Update:
An upgrade in Technology for Hammond High is in the works, as is various upgrades and pro-active maintainance at the other SCH buildings.
